About the position
Heaton Deliveries, Inc. is hiring Seasonal Package Delivery Helpers to join our team during the busy
holiday Peak season.
Heaton Deliveries is an independent contracted service provider that performs package pickup and delivery
services for FedEx.
Delivery Helpers work directly with one of our experienced delivery drivers to help complete residential and
business deliveries on assigned local routes. Helpers ride with the driver, assist with organizing packages,
and carry packages from the delivery vehicle to customers.
This is a non-driving position. A CDL is not required, and Delivery Helpers do not operate the delivery
vehicle.

What You'll Do
- Ride with an assigned delivery driver on a local delivery route
- Assist the driver with organizing packages inside the delivery vehicle
- Carry and deliver packages to residential and business locations
- Help locate packages for upcoming delivery stops
- Safely enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and delivery requirements
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers
- Help keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
- Work as a team with the driver to safely and efficiently complete the assigned route
- Dependable individuals who report to work on time and as scheduled
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active enviroment
- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit delivery vrhicle throughout the workday
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good communication and team work skills
- Professional and courteous attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow company safety procedures
Previous delivery experience is not required.
Schedule
This is a full-time seasonal position for our holiday Peak delivery season.
Typical scheduling includes:
- Day shift
- Monday thru Friday
- Weekend availability as needed during peak
- Daily hours may vary depending on package volume and completion of the assigned route
$180.00 per hour

Delivery helpers report to the terminal and are assigned to work with a delivery driver.
